What to expect on the Frog’s Lilypad website - Disclosure and Privacy Policy

Frog’s Lilypad is an informative website; my purpose is to share valuable content. My collection contains articles on faith, the home, and homemaking all written by me (Lori Tullis). I am simply a wife and mother who researches and shares health benefits I have found for our family. I am in no way a medical adviser, so do your research and use your own discretion. Lori Tullis and Frog’s Lilypad will not be held responsible for any negative actions or consequences made by users of this website.
Affiliate Links and Compensation
From time to time, I will include links to different products, retailers or organizations in my blog posts. I may also place affiliate links on the sidebar. I only recommend things that we have personally used and love. Never will you find a sales pitch for items we have never used.
No added cost - If you choose to follow through a referral link, I will receive a commission, but at no extra cost to you. Your price will not increase because you used a referral link; it will be the same as if you went to the site on your own.
Notice of affiliate links will ALWAYS be placed at the beginning of the posts where they are included.
There are times when I am compensated to provide an opinion on a product or a service. I will always notate this at the beginning of an article just as my affiliate link notice. When I provide an opinion, it will always be an honest opinion. I will never describe a product as something it is not because I am being compensated. Any and all views or opinions will be mine and they will be expressed in a truthful manner. I will only endorse products that I can believe in.

Web Browser Cookies
Frog’s Lilypad uses cookies. Your web browser places cookies on your hard drive for record-keeping purposes and may sometimes include an anonymous unique identifier. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent.
Cookies are used when adding your information to the comment boxes. Only you will see your name and email address when you are ready to leave a comment.
We use Google Analytics to track statistics regarding our audience and website traffic. No personally identifiable information is transferred to Google Analytics. For more information on Google’s Analytics privacy policies, please visit this site.
The companies I am an affiliate for use cookies for tracking views and sales. I am an affiliate with Amazon, Christian Book Distributors, and Walmart. Each company has their own privacy policy for their site, which you can review at each of their sites.
Name/Email Address
When leaving a comment, I do require your first name and email address. This is for both of our protection. It is a way of saying you agree with leaving a comment whether it be positive or negative. It also helps me when I respond to your comment as a copy is sent to your email address.
Email Marketing: When you sign up for a freebie, I ask for your first name and email address in a form through my email marketing provider (Mailerlite); I personally do not store that information. When you sign up, you give me permission to add you to my weekly newsletter email list. To keep your email safe, I use a double opt-in step. If you don’t click on the subscribe button in the second email, you will not be subscribed to the weekly newsletter. It’s that simple. Once a month, I delete any email addresses that are in the system that do not click the second email.
If you ever decide the weekly newsletter is no longer wanted, all you have to do is unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe, both your name and email will be removed from the database.
Mailerlite also uses cookies to help with marketing. Every time you open an email, they collect your name, so I know who opens the emails. This helps me decide whether or not I need to add you to a "if you want to unsubscribe" email. After 10 unopened emails, I send subscribers an email asking if they want to remain on the list, if not, they have the option to unsubscribe. These types of emails are sent once every 10 weeks. If I don't hear from a subscriber within a few days of this email, they are removed from the system.
What to expect as a Frog’s Lilypad subscriber
Posts for the week will be linked in the weekly newsletter. So, if your time is short, you’ll still be able to catch up on what I’ve been sharing during the week.
I search for interesting links that pertain to faith and the home each week for myself. I even share some of those links with you.
An added bonus of being a faithful subscriber, a link to our community library page where you can download all the freebies I have available.
What will never happen as a subscriber
I will never sell your email.
I will never send sales pitch offers for you to buy something.
I will never fill your inbox with spammy emails. If you receive what looks like spam, PLEASE let me know so I can handle it accordingly.
Shopping at Frog’s Lilypad
Security – We use Paypal to process sales transactions. Paypal is safe and never shares your financial information with us. Frog’s Lilypad DOES NOT obtain or store any information.
Payments - Upon placing an order, it may be canceled at any time by either party (the customer and Frog’s Lilypad). If you as a customer, find the need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately. If Frog’s Lilypad deems it necessary to cancel an order, we will refund your money completely with a brief note stating the reason.
Your privacy is very important to me. Accordingly, I have developed this policy in order for you to understand how I collect, use, communicate, disclose, and make use of personal information.
I am committed to conducting my blog and shop in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.
