FOR TODAY... Wednesday, June 24, 2009

Outside my window... The sun is shining and it is hot!

I am thinking...About all the gathering from the garden and canning that I have to work on this week.

I am thankful for... Our freedoms - We have too many that we take for granted.

From the learning rooms... This week, we have Cub Scouts Twilight Camp, so there is a lot of outdoorsy learning going on.

From the kitchen... I'll be working on canning. I made the best cream cheese lemon bars. Trying not to eat too many.

I am wearing... My pj's, since I slept in this morning. I'll be donning my gardening clothes soon, to be out in the garden.

I am creating... Pot holders and handle holders, along with jellies to give as Christmas gifts.

I am going... To drop my son off at camp, then on to the library and then church tonight.

I am reading... I just finished A Promise To Believe In by Tracie Peterson. I'm browsing through Laundry: The Home Comforts Book of Laundry by Cheryl Mendelson.

I am hoping... That it rains.

I am hearing... The air conditioning turning on.

Around the house... I'm trying to stay ahead on all my cleaning, so I don't get behind while I'm busy with the garden and such.

One of my favorite things... FUDGE!!!

A few plans for the rest of the week... Nothing much going on outside of the things around here, other than Twilight Camp for Monkey.
